Nick's Comedy Stop (Boston)

After eating at The Salty Pig last Saturday we headed over to Nick's Comedy Stop for some much needed comedic relief. We bought a Groupon for Nick's Comedy Stop a couple months ago and had been waiting for the right comedian to use it. The head liner, Ira Proctor, was worth the wait.

Proctor came up on stage and immediately had the crowd laughing. His act lasted around 30-40 minutes and it was hysterical. His body movements and facial expressions added an extra layer of funny to his jokes. For a change he poked fun at skinny, not fat, people which was nice. It was a great performance and we would go see his act again.

Nick's Comedy Stop in Boston does not serve food but it does serve drinks; we hear their new Cambridge location does serve food but we've not been there yet. The waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was cosy and pleasant. We suggest getting there early and grabbing a spot on one of the couches.
