Cooking at Home: Baked Tilapia with Homemade Tartar Sauce

      Restaurant quality made easy!
We are not big on fish, in fact we rarely order it at restaurants. However, we make an exception for James baked tilapia with homemade tartar sauce...its truly delicious. Whenever we make this dish we make it a point to buy fresh tilapia filets from the supermarket; we've never bought frozen fish. Tilapia is a healthy, white fish perfect for baking.

Baked Tilapia:

    1. Crack two eggs in a medium bowl and beat them together
    2. Add bread crumbs to a large, plastic ziplock bag until it is half way full
           -We use Progresso Italian Breadcrumbs
    3. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the breadcrumbs
    4. Place a tilapia filet on the egg wash
    5. Add the egg covered filet to the ziplock bag with breadcrumbs
    6. Close the bag and gently shake until the filet is evenly covered
    7. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6
    8. Place double coated filets in a baking pan
    9. Spray the filets with olive oil
   10. Bake in a 360 degree oven for 10 minutes
   11. After 10 minutes flip the filets and bake for another 10 minutes
   12. Enjoy!

*This recipe makes about three large tilapia filets
