The Mission Bar and Grill (Breakfast)

      It was Father Day and we were by ourselves. So, we decided to go out for breakfast at The Mission Bar and Grill, right next to the Brigham Circle T stop. We arrived at around 10am and were the only ones there. The waiter brought us the menu and we immediately thought it was a little overpriced for breakfast. Yet, when the food arrived we instantly changed our minds. The portions were huge and the food was delicious!

      Aida ordered the Cinnamon French Toast. The 4 hand cut slices of french toast came served with home fries, sliced strawberries, a slice of watermelon, a slice of orange, and warm syrup. The french toast had the perfect amount of vanilla and cinnamon. Considering the size of the portion, this plate was a steal at $8.99. We would recommend this dish to anyone. The Mission's french toast are a truly delectable experience!

      James ordered the Carnivore Omelette. This was a huge omelette with bacon, sausage, ham, and chorizo served with a watermelon slice, an orange slice, and home fries. Every bite was packed full of meat and the center was full of melted swiss cheese. Once again, the large portion justified the $9.99 price tag. It was definitely a delicious, man's meal!

      The Mission Bar and Grill only serves breakfast Saturday's and Sunday's and, somethings for sure, we will be coming back!
