First we tried the Sweet Cake, which is a vanilla bean cake topped with chocolate buttercream frosting. We thought the cake, although moist, lacked flavor. The chocolate buttercream was grainy but had a strong chocolate flavor.
Our second miniature cupcake was Sweet's Organic Karat, a carrot cake made from organic carrots and pineapple topped with a cream cheese frosting. The cake itself was flavorful and moist. However, the cream cheese frosting was overwhelming and grainy.
Overall the cupcakes were not bad. Maybe next time we go in we will order some of their more interesting flavors like Chocolate Covered Pretzel.
