Cheers (Faneuil Hall)

Last Friday we were hanging around Faneuil Hall, which, if you are visiting Boston, is a must do! Every time we visit Faneuil Hall we walk by Cheers and say to each other "we should eat there sometime." Well, we finally decided to give the famous restaurant a try! Cheers' menu is composed of classic bar food; burgers, sandwiches, and fried appetizers. Our guess is most people enter Cheers for the name, stay for the game, and don't mind getting the check!

To start our meal we ordered Cheers' Appetizer Combo Platter which comes with 2 pieces of chicken fingers, potato skins, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and onion rings. This appetizer platter is perfect for a couple and a steal at only $10.95. Everything tasted great but then again everything was fried and to us most fried things taste delicious!

James had Cheers' Burger Meinster which is topped with Muenster cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, and onions. Overall the burger was severely under seasoned. However, the meat was cooked to a perfect medium. This was a good sized, average tasting burger.

Aida ordered Cheers' Carlas' Petite Burger which is a 1/4 pound sirloin burger patty topped with lettuce and onions. This is a very simple, straight up burger. The meat was juicy and well seasoned.   Overall, this was a tasty, filling burger!

Cheers serves decent food at incredibly reasonable prices. It is a great spot to drink a beer and catch a game. We would come back just for its cool ambiance and convenient location!
